This LEED certified project, consists of a new 2-story, 21,000 SF brick and fiber cement addition onto the 3-story 36,000 SF brick mill building, originally built in 1882. The mill received a complete rehab, including masonry repair, brick repointing and new energy efficient, factory-style windows. Inside, the exposed heavy timber framing will be used as a design element, echoed in the lobby where new and old meet. The completed building houses 48, mostly 1-bedroom apartments: 2 HVI units, 12 fully ADA-accessible, and 34 ADA-adaptable.
